WARNING SCAM ALERT!!

Some Bedford residents have received phone calls from scammers saying they are with the Bedford Electric Department & that their power would be cut off if payment wasn't made to the caller immediately.

Bedford Electric Department wants to assure residents that they do not call residents in this manner and all payments are to be made only through the Town of Bedford. If residents have any questions regarding their account, please call: 540-587-6057.

Hydrant Maintenance

The Bedford Fire Department will be performing hydrant maintenance throughout the summer. During this process you may experience some discolored water, which is caused by sediment in the lines that is disturbed when the hydrant is opened. Discolored water should clear up after running your faucet for a few minutes. Please call the BRWA at: 540-586-7679 if you experience any difficulties during testing.
