Public Hearing Notice
Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Town Planning Commission at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 and by the Town Council at
7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the Town Municipal Building, Council Hall, 215 East Main Street for the purpose of:
Consideration of a request for a conditional use permit related to the mobile home park at 1034 Billie Leighs Court, Bedford, VA 24523 (Tax Parcel 129-A-13-T)
consisting of approximately 38.37 acres, located on the south side of East Lynchburg Salem Turnpike. The request is being made by Bedford Homes, LLC,
409 East Main Street, Richmond, VA.
Consideration of a request for a conditional use permit in compliance to the terms and conditions of a homeless shelter for Grace House Community Church
located at 514 Blue Ridge Avenue, Suites E and F, Bedford, VA 24523 (Tax Parcel 193-1-1-T). The request is being made by
Grace House Community Church, 514 Blue Ridge Avenue, Suite G, Bedford, VA.
Information regarding this request is on file in the office of Planning & Community Development.
Anyone who is in favor of or opposed to the request will have an opportunity to express his/her views at this hearing.
By the Authority of the Planning Commission and the Town Council of the Town of Bedford.

cut off if payment wasn't made to the caller immediately.
Bedford Electric Department wants to assure residents that they do not call residents in this manner and all payments are to be made only through
the Town of Bedford. If residents have any questions regarding their account, please call: 540-587-6057.
Tree Trimming Notice
The Electric Department will be out tree trimming this season. It's necessary to keep right-of-ways clear in order to provide reliable service to customers
and make a safe work environment for line workers. Tree interference is the number one cause of outages on the electric system. Please be cooperative and respectful
of tree trimming crews working in your area. They will work with residents to minimize the impact on property and respect the environment as they work in the community.

The Bedford Fire Department will be performing hydrant maintenance throughout the summer.
During this process you may experience some discolored water, which is caused by sediment in the lines that is disturbed when the hydrant is opened.
Discolored water should clear up after running your faucet for a few minutes. Please call the BRWA at: 540-586-7679 if you experience any difficulties during testing.
