Local Emergency Planning Committee

Responsibilities


The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is responsible for updating the Town's Emergency Operations Plan. The committee, composed of representatives from public and private sectors of the community, meet regularly to review the capabilities of the Town to respond to local emergencies. It is also responsible for sharing information regarding available resources including equipment, technical advice, training an other resources that may be available within the community to assist the various public and private entities in planning, responding and preventing emergency incidents.
